FRANKLIN AMERICAN MORTGAGE Retail Division ENTERS
THE NORTHEAST MARKET

Franklin, TENN. - Franklin American Mortgage Company (FAMC) expands their retail division into the Northeast with a location in Marlton, New Jersey.

Steve Medes, Executive Vice President for FAMC, announced today that veteran mortgage banker Ron Agasar will be responsible for growing the northeast region for Franklin American Mortgage Company. Ron brings with him over 30 years of retail lending experience and is very familiar with the entire northeast market. He has previously managed retail markets for American Residential Mortgage, Chase Manhattan and CTX Mortgage achieving annual residential loan production levels of close to $2 billion. Ron will be looking for opportunities to grow FAMC in states contiguous to NJ, plus other Middle Atlantic and New England states.

As a seasoned mortgage banking professional, Ron has been very active with state and local Mortgage Bankers Associations. They include; 2006 President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of New Jersey, 2005 President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Greater Philadelphia, current member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Mortgage Bankers Association, past chairman of the Young Mortgage Bankers Committee of MBA of Greater Philadelphia, and past Chairman of the Residential Loan Production Committee of the MBA of New Jersey among others. He is also a licensed NJ Mortgage Banker.
